Dr. Heidel Studied was an Osteopathic Student, discovering that her real passion was Prevention, but prevention wasn't taught in even the most natural forms of allopathic medicine.  So she ventured into the world of Holistic Medicine.  She realized that someone needed to know something more, that there was too much information and other modalities available to draw from and that drugs did not always work for everyone, especially long term.  That prevention was key and nutrition and lifestyle changes were the most efficient and cost effective Alternative Approaches to life long health and wellbeing.  Hence the Clinic name "Alternative Approach."
