Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, John Broadhead is more than just your average photographer. A loving husband and father of two and a devoted full-time professional photographer based in Naples, FL, Johns specialty lies in capturing family beach portraits, wedding, and event photography. His journey began as a semi-professional photographer for three years before thirsting for something more - professional mentorship and training. Now, with nine years of experience under his belt, these trainings have helped him develop an extraordinary perspective on composition, lighting, exposure, and post-editing features. Despite having professional training, his images still retain a unique style, offering a distinctly beautiful and often candid view of his surroundings. Johns works have claimed multiple awards throughout the years, including an "Award of Excellence" from the prestigious Rauschenberg Gallery for his HDR shot titled "Old Skool". His knack for photography has sailed him into various publications, including the front cover of the popular Composition 101 textbook by one of the world's leading publishers, McGraw Hill. Being a natural people-person, he prides himself on his easy, fun, and professional demeanor. He enjoys the challenge of working with clients who are uncomfortable in front of the camera, prioritizing helping them relax as a key to capturing great shots. "Getting clients to relax is the most important part of capturing the great shots," he says. "'I know how it is. I hate the other side of the lens, too! I will banter with the best of them, and before you know it, they are having a great time and I just made a few more lifelong friends, not just clients.'"
