About Mikkelsen’s Pastry Shop

We, Paw and Elizabeth Mikkelsen, are the proud proprietors of Mikkelsen's Pastry Shop, which we started in 2000 after accruing significant experience in the hospitality sector. Paw hails from Denmark, growing up in a family-owned pastry shop and training as a pastry chef before relocating to the United States. His experience includes prestigious positions as an Executive Pastry Chef at the Ritz Carlton in Boston, the Four Seasons in Houston, and the Ameristar Casino in Mississippi. On the other hand, Elizabeth is an alumnus of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, and she has held several management roles in the food and beverage department at renowned establishments including the Ritz Carlton in Boston, Naples and the Four Seasons in Boston. Our highly skilled staff members boast substantial experience in pastries at esteemed institutions like The Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, and Marriott Hotels. We're committed to creating custom cakes from scratch—every aspect, from the appearance and flavor to the number of layers, is tailor-made in accordance with your preferences. You can peruse an album containing samples of our previously crafted cakes, or visit our online gallery for inspiration. You're also free to bring along pictures of the cake style you desire; we'll try our best to replicate it to your satisfaction. We'd love to contribute to making your event memorable.
