Naples Yacht Club Inc

Established in 1947, two years before the town of Naples was officially recognized as a city, Naples Yacht Club was created with the intent to encourage yachting, promote the skills of seamanship and navigation, foster social welfare, provide entertainment and promote diversity among members. It also aimed to establish an appropriate clubhouse, anchorage, and other recreational facilities for member use. Since its inception, with three founding yachtsmen, membership has steadily grown to over 600 by 2010. Despite this growth, the club maintains its original spirit of friendship and goodwill, which is stronger than ever.
