Dr. Socrates Perez is a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist, boasting over three decades of experience in the field. His medical training was completed at the Jersey City Medical Center, an affiliate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Perez further extended his professional career in academia for over 12 years, holding a prestigious appointment at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital. Following 20 years of successful private practice in New York City, he decided to move his practice to sunny Florida. With a professional interest in Geriatrics and Preventive Medicine, Dr. Perez is also passionate about the convergence of traditional and alternative medicine. Outside of his dedicated medical career, he pursues his passion for music, particularly playing the guitar and appreciating various musical genres.
