About The Naples Museum Of Military History

Located in Southwest Florida, our Military Museum is a treasure trove of thousands of artifacts from all branches of the military. Nestled in the historical Naples Municipal Airport, this site has great significance as it was originally constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers to train WWII pilots for their Pacific theater missions. Aside from our main exhibits, we have recently opened a new extension, the Annex, which houses a diverse collection of artifacts not directly connected to WWII or the Naples Airport. This includes pieces from the Vietnam, Korea, and Middle East wars, with a sprinkle of residual WWII items. While the museum started with a focus on honoring Military Aviation during World War 2, it has since grown to encompass a wider range of historical periods. Today, visitors can explore artifacts from the Revolutionary War through to the contemporary conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, providing an in-depth engagement with military history.
